A mean-street double! Senior Reserves convincingly beaten 52-14. Senior A’s got out to a good lead but got run over by a Pioneer train! Final score 36-25 to Pioneer. Player of the Day was Kody Thompson who’s having a great season. Plenty for both teams to work on and with Greytown next week it’ll be a tough challenge.
Martinborough Rugby Football Club was established in 1904.
The club has celebrated many successes, notably its centenary in 2004. The club has a proud history and a strong presence in the Wairarapa, especially in the 1980’s and 1990’s. Over the years the club has enjoyed a selection of teams ranging from Senior A’s, Reserves, Thirds, Under 20’s, JAB’s and a Women’s team.
